As a Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the company’s interactions with the public by implementing social media platforms’ content strategies. Your duties will include analyzing engagement data, identifying trends in customer interactions, and planning digital campaigns to interact with the public online. Should have an eye for social media trends and also know how to engage people, leverage monitoring tools for insights, and align their work with a brand's goals.
Develop creative and engaging social media strategies.
Manage the day-to-day handling of all social media channels such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, and YouTube, adapting content to suit different channels.
Oversee, plan and deliver content across different platforms using scheduling tools such as SemRush, and Hootsuite.
Create engaging multimedia content (and/or outsource this effectively) across multiple platforms.
Develop, launch and manage new competitions and campaigns that promote your organization and brand.
Form key relationships with influencers across social media platforms.
Undertake audience research and analyze competitor activity.
Manage and facilitate social media communities by responding to posts and developing discussions.
Monitor, track, analyze and report on performance on social media platforms using tools such as Google Analytics and Facebook insights.
Research and evaluate the latest trends and techniques in order to find new and better ways of measuring social media activity.
Set targets to increase brand awareness and increase customer engagement and recommend improvements to increase performance.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strategic Campaign Planning expertise.
Post Graduate or graduate in engineering, management, or any other related field or equivalent experience.
Prior work experience in digital marketing agencies or digital transformation teams at SMBs or corporations.
